Loctite 242 is a Thread Sealer and locker used in threaded Fasteners. It is an Anaerobic Sealant, which means that it will cure in the absence of Air. It is a Medium Strength thread locker, so it can be used for Fasteners which has to be loosened with any hand tool.
Loctite 242 prevents leakage and loosening due to vibration and shock. It is a medium strength and medium viscosity thread locker.
